PREMARITAL COUNSELING
.png)
Premarital counseling is specifically designed for engaged couples who want to begin their marriage by laying a strong foundation and asking important questions before saying, "I do." This is highly recommended for all engaged couples.
Couples will take an online questionnaire and receive a hard copy of their results and a workbook. The custom workbook will be used during sessions and for homework. It is recommended that couples commit to 6-10 weekly sessions.
Why Premarital Counseling is Important
Premarital counseling offers couples a valuable opportunity to prepare for the lifelong commitment of marriage by identifying strengths, potential challenges, and areas for growth.
Research has shown that couples who engage in premarital counseling reduce their risk of divorce by up to 30% by fostering better communication, improving conflict resolution skills, and addressing key issues before they become major problems. Premarital counseling helps couples enter marriage with a solid foundation, increased awareness of their relationship dynamics, and a deeper understanding of each other's expectations. This process can set couples up for long-term success and satisfaction in their marriage.
