Standard Rates
Anchor Creek charges $150 for a 45-minute session, and this rate applies to individuals, couples, and families. Unlike other practices, we don't charge a higher fee for a larger group, making marriage & family counseling more accessible for everyone.
We also offer a reduced rate for ministry leaders/volunteers and a sliding-scale rate on a case-by-case basis.
Insurance
Anchor Creek is considered an out-of-network provider, which means we don't bill insurance directly. While we don't accept insurance, we gladly accept HSA cards. If needed, we can also provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement.
Coverage for out-of-network mental health services varies depending on your insurance policy, so we encourage you to check with your provider to understand the details of your plan.
Our approach prioritizes privacy and flexibility, allowing you to maintain full control over your therapeutic care.

First Appointment
Your first session will involve a two-way conversation during which your therapist will ask you questions to get to know you. You'll have the opportunity to ask questions, too. We'll review the information that you completed online, identify some goals, and discuss treatment length. At the end, you and your therapist will schedule your next session(s).
Ongoing Support
Every session looks a little different depending on your goals; however, your therapist will check in with you to see how things have been since your last session and assess your progress. We're here to encourage you and challenge you to grow, and there are a number of ways to approach that.
The length of treatment is determined by you and your therapist. Some clients see their therapist once per week for 6-10 weeks and then no longer feel a need for regular appointments. Some clients will reduce from once per week to 1-2x per month at that point, and some people prefer to schedule maintenance sessions every month or two.
