Specialties
While Anchor Creek serves everyone from all walks of life, we specialize in three core groups statistically underrepresented in the counseling room.
Couples
Navigating couples counseling is considered one of the more challenging forms of therapy due to the complexities of navigating the dynamics between two people. As trained Marriage & Family Therapists, we're unique among mental health professionals because of our focus on relationships and holistic approach to care. We specialize in couples counseling at every stage of the relationship journey, from premarital counseling to crisis management.

Men
While most professional therapists work with men, men are less likely to use health care services in general – and even less likely to seek mental health services actively. Some reasons for this include views on traditional masculinity, masculine socialization, and the inaccurate stigmas associated with mental health.
Additionally, only 24% of therapists are men, and many men have expressed the desire to work with therapists of the same gender.
Despite men's higher risk of death related to mental illness, women are more likely to seek out help. Our goal is to create an environment to help men break barriers, fight stereotypes, and find healing in a way that speaks to them.

Ministry Leaders
Anchor Creek recognizes the unique challenges that pastors and ministry leaders face, including church politics, congregational concerns, burnout, and the pressure of leading while also managing personal struggles.
Our pastoral care services provide a confidential, compassionate space for ministry professionals to process their experiences, find support, and navigate the complexities of their roles. Through our faith-integrated, research-based counseling approach, we aim to help pastors reconnect with their purpose, set healthy boundaries, and maintain emotional well-being.
Anchor Creek is here to support you as you lead and serve others.
